Community sport in Bunbury has done it tough throughout the COVID pandemic.

Moorabinda Croquet Club will receive $18 833 as part of a $1.75 million McGowan Government grassroots sporting infrastructure program.

Moorabinda Croquet Club is among 27 community sporting projects to receive funding, which they will use for their lighting upgrades to four courts and the construction of a spectator shelter.

The projects funded through CSRFF grants will create demand for construction work in Bunbury, supporting local jobs and boosting the local economy.

The projects are being funded under the latest small grants round of the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
